A short comment is just not possible, there is so much I can say about how wonderful the nursery and the staff are. When Sidney was diagnosed with diabetes I genuinely couldn’t fathom anyone but me looking after him for literally the rest of his life but you have all made me feel so comfortable and confident to cut the cord and let him have some much needed time away from his overbearing mother. Sidney adores being at nursery, he’s desperate to get in and reluctant to come home and can’t wait until he gets to come back again. Helter Skelter is the best environment for my son and I couldn’t be more grateful for you all.

This nursery is truly special. It’s a small, welcoming setting where most of the staff have been there for over eight years, which speaks volumes about their dedication. My firstborn started here at age 2 (six years ago), and now my second child attends—and absolutely loves it. She has a beautiful bond with her key worker, Hannah, who is caring and attentive.
What makes this nursery stand out is how genuine the team is. These women clearly love children; they’re not here for the money, but because they care deeply. You can feel that in everything they do. They go above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing environment, and the amazing soft play area with slides is a huge bonus for the kids.
When my first child attended, I never had to worry about her well-being, and it’s the same now. That peace of mind is priceless. I can’t recommend this nursery enough—it’s a wonderful place for little ones to grow and thrive.

As a first time mum who suffers from anxiety, the idea of my daughter starting nursery after she'd barely turned 2 was mortifying. However in my experience Helter Skelter was definitely the right choice, since day one the staff have all been nurturing, understanding and flexible in their approach and that's not just with the children. No matter how many questions or concerns, all were dealt with in a kind and compassionate manner with my child's interests at heart.
The facilities at the nursery are wonderful and inviting to the children, not to mention the play frame and garden which cater wonderfully for this age range. The new app facilities are also great for invoicing and keeping in contact regarding the activities the children are carrying out.
At one point, I had to consider relocating to a different nursery, however the others in the area just couldn't compare to what Helter Skelter has to offer and so ultimately, I chose to do everything I could to keep my daughter there.

My son has been attending Helter Skelter since 2023, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery. All of the staff are extremely friendly and professional, and very engaging with all of the children who attend. They keep parents up to date with important information, informative newsletters, and information that helps support parents, such as school open days, funding for hours and support groups in the local community. My son was very shy and quiet when he first started - along with the support of the staff, he has totally come out of his shell around his peers, has made many friends' and is so happy to go to nursery each day. Infact, most days after collecting him, he asks to go straight back! Couldn't ask for a better environment for my son to be spending his early years

We knew Helter Skelter was the right choice for us as soon as we’d signed our 2 year old up and received an email from Rachael saying “we can’t wait for Austin to join our nursery family”. And it’s felt like that since! We love the caring, friendly, nurturing environment that Rachael and her team have created.
A started at 2 years old and hadn’t been to nursery before, Rachael, Hannah, Kelly, Hannah and Ben instantly made a positive impression on him. He has settled into Helter Skelter so well and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Every day he comes home from nursery, I can see or hear a difference in him - today he came home and showed me his yoga poses!!

Helter Skelter is an amazing nursery. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, supportive, and always greet the children with smiles and enthusiasm. Both my boys have attended, with my youngest still going. He loves it and is always happy to go in with the staff to play with his friends. The staff keep parents/families informed and work with them to offer support where possible. I am so grateful to Rachael and all the team for their hard work and support with both my boys.

Helter Skelter is amazing. The staff are all brilliant and i couldnt recommend them enough! We tried almost every nursery and none even come close to how amazing this one is. Both my boys have been there and loved it.

Our daughter was so anxious to start nursery, but with the time, dedication, and care that the team offered she is now delighted to go. Each child is treated individually, to cater for their own particular needs. The team are so kind, caring and fun. It's such a happy place and we are so happy to have found this gem of a nursery.

He started as a very shy little boy who wouldn't talk to anyone, to a confident, happy boy who's made friends and such lovely relationships with all the staff. For 2 years you have all been such an important part of his life and we will both miss coming here so much. You all will hold a special place in both our hearts and we will never be able to thank you enough.

Hello, I am a Broadstairs mum of three currently on maternity leave. I attend a couple of groups with my children at the local library and we are always happy to see some children and staff from your nursery at the Friday morning storytime group. The children are so enthusiastic and well behaved and the staff are very calm. I am a primary school teacher myself and so I know a bit about how difficult it can be to take children out in this way but your staff are always fully in control and very impressive. The lady who seems to be 'in charge' is particularly impressive managing a large group, seeing everything and phased by nothing it seems! I just wanted to give this feedback as I think it every week and I thought it would be nice to pass these thoughts on.
